The session will cover all those important basics that will help you tame and control your overlocker:
- Changing the needles
- Easy threading
- Identifying and adjusting the tension dials to achieve perfect stitching
- Starting and finishing methods
- Narrow overlocking
- Rolled hemming
- Overlocker make to taken home
Cost: £25.00 including materials and refreshments (payable on booking).

Dressmaking & Tailoring & Pattern Cutting

Aimed at complete beginners and those who haven't undertaken a formal sewing qualification before. The course has 3 elements: the planning and construction of 2 garments. A portfolio of dressmaking construction samples and a portfolio of art and design techniques.
No dressmaking or art skills are required. This course will roll over onto level 2.
An excellent course giving all the necessary basic skills for dressmakers and those interested in fashion.

Post Graduate and Newly Qualified teacher training in garment construction
In reaction to a number of requests from NQT's and fashion graduates one-to-one or small group sessions tailored to your requirements. Create a portfolio of garment construction techniques to use in teaching or as designer maker.
